Terms of use

1. The service

CardScry shows prices for Magic: The Gathering singles collected from Japanese and international stores and marketplaces, and lets signed-in users keep an inventory and card list and scan cards. It is free to use.

2. Prices are for information only

Prices are collected automatically and may be out of date, incomplete or wrong. They are not offers to buy or sell. Always check the price with the store before you trade; decisions you make based on the site are your own.

3. Your account

Use an email address you control and keep your sign-in details safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy). We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms.

4. Acceptable use

Please do not:

• scrape the site or download its data in bulk with automated tools;
• try to get around security measures or access other people's accounts or data;
• send excessive requests or otherwise overload or disrupt the service;
• use the site for anything unlawful.

5. Your data

Your inventory, card list and scans stay yours. We store and process them only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.

6. Availability

We run CardScry on a best-effort basis. Features may change, and the site may be unavailable at times or discontinued. The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, including Japan's Consumer Contract Act, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the site or its price information, except where caused by our intent or gross negligence.

8. Third-party content and trademarks

CardScry is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Fan Content Policy. Not approved/endorsed by Wizards. Portions of the materials used are property of Wizards of the Coast. ©Wizards of the Coast LLC.

Card names, images and related marks belong to Wizards of the Coast. Card images are provided by Gatherer and Scryfall. CardScry is not affiliated with Wizards of the Coast, Hareruya, TCGplayer, Cardmarket, Mana Pool or Scryfall; store names belong to their owners.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and Japanese courts have jurisdiction over any disputes.
